“John Votel is one of the North County’s most versatile artists.  His works have appeared in many local venues and publications like The Jacksonville Business Journal’s Book of Lists, 2011, The Islander, Beaches Weekly, and MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art).

He paints with acrylics, metallics and uses a flexible stone-like substance he invented called Flex-a-Rock to make ‘bas relief’ in canvas and wood panels. His works range from abstracts to photo real 3D-like textured works.

John has logged 20 years of experience as an artist for Walt Disney World where his work and designs have appeared in all the major theme parks.”
